WebInteract is privacy-conscious by design: cookie-light analytics, flexible hosting and GDPR-aware setups. Here is how we handle data, security and terms.
WebInteract is built to be privacy-conscious and GDPR-aware. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first tool that sets no tracking cookies, stores no raw IP addresses and shares nothing with third parties for advertising. Your visitors stay yours.
All cloud-hosted experiences run behind Cloudflare, providing DDoS protection, SSL encryption and global CDN delivery. Client data in the Experience product is encrypted and access-controlled.
WebInteract experiences are licensed for use on the agreed domain(s). Redistribution or resale without written consent is not permitted. Full terms available on request.

This statement explains who is responsible for your data, what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who processes it on our behalf and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

For any question about this statement or about how your personal data is handled, email contact@webinteract.eu with the subject line “Privacy”.
When you use the contact form or email us directly, we process the personal data you provide so we can answer you and, where relevant, work together.
| Data we process | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Name | To address and identify you in our reply | Pre-contractual steps and/or your consent |
| Email address | To respond to your request | Pre-contractual steps and/or your consent |
| Message content & any details you add (e.g. company, project) | To understand your request, prepare a quote and follow up | Pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest |
Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to your request. We do not use your contact data for unsolicited marketing, and we never sell it.
The input form on the Configurator page is provided for demonstration purposes only. It exists to show how the configurator works, not to collect leads.
If you would like us to get in touch, please use the regular contact form or email contact@webinteract.eu instead.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand, at an aggregate level, how the site is used. Plausible sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. According to Plausible's documentation, it does not store raw IP addresses; however, it does use your IP address and user agent transiently to derive a rotating, anonymised daily visitor identifier and approximate (country/region-level) location. Only aggregated statistics are retained afterwards.
Because this processing is minimal, cookie-free and not used to build cross-site profiles, we consider our analytics low-impact under the GDPR. This is not a guarantee that no personal data is ever processed: a full legal assessment of whether prior consent is required for your specific situation should be verified with a qualified advisor.
We keep our data chain short and EU-based. The following parties process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, or provide the infrastructure the site runs on:
| Party | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting provider | Website hosting and Plausible Analytics | European Union |
| Cloudflare | CDN, proxy, SSL encryption and DDoS protection | Global network; EU-only processing requires Regional Services / Data Localization to be configured |
| Email provider | Receiving and storing your messages | European Union |
| SendGrid (Twilio) | Delivering contact and quote-form messages | United States; EU data residency available. Processed under EU Standard Contractual Clauses |
Our website and analytics run on hosting located in the European Union, and incoming messages are stored in an EU-based mailbox. Two of our processors, however, operate global networks. Cloudflare, our CDN, may by default route traffic through points of presence outside the EU unless its Regional Services / Data Localization Suite is configured. SendGrid, which delivers messages submitted through our forms, is US-based (EU data residency is available as an option). Where a processor handles data outside the EU, this relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@webinteract.eu. We respond within 30 days. If you believe your data is handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority — Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
